In the resource constrained environment of mobile phone development, creating apps that use the battery efficiently is absolutely critical. No matter how useful your app is, it's a lot less useful if it's running on a device that's run out of battery.
This is the first in a series of DevBytes created to help you improve the battery efficiency of your apps.
