Sony Xperia Z3+ vs. Sony Xperia Z2 vs. Sony Xperia Z1 vs. Sony Xperia Z - Benchmark Speed Test (4K)

Sony’s flagship series, Xperia Z smartphones, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z are put to compete in a benchmark speed test. Which of these will win? Watch to find out.

Xperia Z series is the set of high-end mobiles offered by Sony, with the newest phone Xperia Z3 Plus released just last month and the oldest, Xperia Z released in 2013. All these phones work with the same OS, Android Lollipop 5.0.2.

When we look at the specifications, while the Z, Z1, Z2 mobiles all consist of the same Adreno 300 GPU, Z3+ gets highlighted of having Adreno 430 GPU. Xperia Z has the oldest CPU which is Snapdragon S4 while the others are comprised of Snapdragon 800, 801 and 810 respectively.
When observed through the GeekBench App, Z3+ and Z2 had the same amount of RAM, 2.7GB while Z1 had 1.69GB and Z the lowest of 1.75GB.

When the benchmark test was carried out, Z3+ beat all the other phones by having the highest single core and multi core score as predicted. But surprisingly Z1 beat Z2 getting a slightly higher score while Z was left behind with a lower score than its predecessors. Since the score difference is just marginal between these devices it can be concluded that Sony has not made major changes in the performance of these smartphones.
