AMD XConnect™ technology is a new feature of the Radeon™ Software 16.2.2 (or later) graphics driver that makes it easier than ever to connect and use an external Radeon™ graphics card. External Thunderbolt™ 3 GPU enclosures configured with Radeon™ R9 300, Fury or Nano Series GPUs can easily connect to a compatible ultrathin or 2-in-1 notebook. Best of all, a setup configured with AMD XConnect™ technology and external Radeon™ graphics can be connected or disconnected at any time, just like a USB flash drive—a first for external GPUs!
