GTA V at 4K with a GTX 970 - Is it worth it?

Sure GTA V is playable at 4K with a single GTX 970, but at what cost? I spent some time tuning the in-game settings to squeeze the most performance out of the game without sacrificing a great deal of quality. These are my thoughts and observations from my experience.

TLDW:

GTA V at 4K w/ GTX 970:
-The game still looks great at normal settings
-Turn up Extended Distance for objects and shadows
-MSAA, Grass, and PCSS are performance killers and should be disabled
-Anisotropic, Tessellation, and Ambient Occlusion have no impact on performance. Crank that shiz up.
-You will max out the GTX 970's 3.5GB frame buffer, albeit without noticeable drawbacks
-You can achieve average framerates in the mid 70's without the game looking awful
-GTA V is an awesome and highly scalable game
