The new Incredible S from HTC is basically a mild spec bump from the original Incredible. The WVGA screen is 4" and uses a Super LCD panel. It packs a 1GHz Snapdragon single core CPU with 768MB of RAM and 1.1GB of ROM. It has unique rotating navigation keys so that the buttons re-orient themselves when you switch into landscape.
First impressions of the device? The front facing camera is definitely a great addition if you're into video calling and its 1.3-megapixel sensor size is appealing. One of the flaws with the device we had our hands-on with, and basically all Incredible S devices on display, was that they ran Android 2.2 Froyo. HTC told us it will be upgradeable to Gingerbread post launch. Definitely the new Sense version and some new HTC widgets are a great feature but, let's not forget about the Intelligent Buttons (the capacitive ones) at the bottom which rotate when in landscape mode to give you a better feel for them (sort of a gimmick).
