Nvidia Shield Hands On!
The NVIDIA Shield just had its pricing and release announced on Tuesday, and already the new controller is on display here in San Francisco at Google I/O 2013. While we spent some time with the Shield back at CES 2013, at that time it was still a project, and while this is a pre-production model, it is much closer to the finished device. Overall the device feels really good in the hand and definitely benefits from some ergonomic design. The hinge on the screen did feel a tad creaky, but that isn't unusual on any plastic hinge on pre-production models, and the screen is beautiful enough to warrant your full attention.
