LG Marquee Hands On!
Bonjour from the Holiday Spectacular event! I just had a rendezvous with the cloud-like LG Marquee for Sprint, the lightest smartphone I've ever pawed. Tipping the old postage scale at 3.97 ounces, the LG Marquee felt like a dummy phone made entirely of plastic, devoid of any internals. Its internal specs were not much to hold a parade over with a 1GHz processor, 512MB or RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Its design was sleek, yet plasticky, and in the end I found the phone's only redeeming quality to be its significant weight reduction. Still, for $99.99 with a 2-year Sprint contract, it wasn't a terrible deal. Check out the video above for a hands-on preview.
