In this talk, IΓÇÖll talk automatic facial expression analysis including neutral face detection, action unit recognition and basic facial expression recognition. We developed two different frameworks, one for collaborative users (high resolution frontal view faces) and another for uncontrolled environments (low resolution videos, different head poses and non-frontal faces). We also evaluated the recognition performance for geometry facial features (eyes, lips, etc.), appearance features (Gabor features on whole face region), and the combination of geometry and appearance features at different level of video resolutions.
