Just 5 years young, Casper - an e-commerce startup that sells sleep products, has hit a milestone most startups strive for by reaching a valuation of over $1 billion. But, while the product team is blazing ahead with new products, how does the engineering team adapt to this fast-paced growth and continue to scale their architecture?

Kyle Rush, VP of Engineering, and Richard Cho, Engineering Manager, at Casper, share the evolution of their infrastructure over the last few years, including their migration from Heroku to AWS. They share how they've been able to be agile - while building out an engineering team, their decision to build vs. buy, and answer questions about their future of serverless and containerization. Kyle and Richard give a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges they've faced and offer up insights to other startups looking to perfect their DevOps journey.
