In collaboration with AWS, the NFL Player Care Foundation has created a new initiative that leverages Amazon SageMaker to revolutionize the support provided to former players. In this video, Yash Kumar, Analytics Manager, discusses how the focus is on automating the process of identifying and addressing a wide range of player needs, from disaster recovery to chronic health issues, by developing an ML model that predicts a complexity score for each case.

This innovative approach enables case managers to allocate resources more effectively, significantly reducing case resolution times. By integrating GenAI models in SageMaker, the initiative not only enhances the accuracy of need identification but also ensures timely and appropriate support for former NFL players.
