The A/B OS Switch feature enables seamless operating system updates by maintaining two separate system partitions—Slot A and Slot B. While one slot is actively running the OS, the other is used to install updates in the background. Upon reboot, the system switches to the updated slot, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
